Author Guidelines

Artsürem Publishing considers proposals only for its active peer-reviewed collections. At present, submissions are considered for the Contemporary Linguistics Series and the Psychology and Social Sciences Series. Proposals that do not clearly fit an active collection will not be sent for external review.

The press considers research monographs, scholarly edited volumes, and substantially revised doctoral dissertations prepared for book publication. We do not normally consider popular non-academic books, self-help titles, unreviewed conference proceedings, or manuscripts lacking a clearly defined research contribution. Standalone book chapters are not normally considered as independent submissions unless they form part of an approved edited-volume project.

Initial submissions may take one of two forms:
1. a complete manuscript; or
2. a structured book proposal accompanied by sample chapters.

A submission should normally include:
- title and subtitle;
- name(s), affiliation(s), country, and ORCID iD(s);
- an abstract in English (150–250 words);
- 5–7 keywords in English;
- a table of contents;
- either the full manuscript or a proposal with sample chapters;
- a short author/editor biography;
- where relevant, a funding statement, ethics statement, and permissions statement for third-party material.

Manuscripts must be original and must not be under consideration by another publisher at the same time. Authors are responsible for the accuracy of references, for securing permission to reuse copyrighted material, and for ensuring that all contributors named in the submission have approved it.

Submissions that pass the initial editorial screening are normally sent for double-blind external peer review. Acceptance is based on scholarly quality, originality, relevance to the collection, and satisfactory revision where required.

Unless otherwise agreed with the editors, references and citations should be prepared consistently according to APA 7th edition or the approved house style of the relevant collection.

Submission Preparation Checklist

Please confirm that the submission meets all of the following requirements:

- The project clearly fits one of Artsürem Publishing’s active peer-reviewed collections.
- The submission is original and is not under consideration by another publisher.
- The title, abstract, and keywords have been provided in English.
- All references and citations have been checked for accuracy and completeness.
- The manuscript file has been prepared in an editable format (.doc, .docx, or .odt).
- Where double-blind review is intended, identifying information has been removed from the review file and from file properties.
- All tables, figures, illustrations, datasets, and appendices are clearly labelled.
- Permission has been obtained for any third-party material requiring permission.
- All listed authors/contributors have approved the submission.
- Where relevant, funding information, conflict-of-interest disclosures, and ethics approval details have been provided.

Authors who publish with Artsürem Publishing retain copyright in their work.

By submitting a manuscript to the press, the author confirms that:
- the work is original and has not been previously published in the form submitted;
- the work is not under consideration elsewhere;
- all necessary permissions for third-party material have been obtained;
- all listed authors or editors have approved the submission.

If the submission is accepted for publication, the author grants Artsürem Publishing the right of first publication. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, open-access titles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International (CC BY-NC 4.0) licence. Where an individual title is published under a different Creative Commons licence, the applicable licence will be stated on the title page and in the published metadata.

Authors remain responsible for the content of the work, the accuracy of references, and compliance with relevant ethical and legal requirements.

Privacy Statement

The names, affiliations, email addresses, and other personal data entered on this press website are used exclusively for the editorial, production, publication, and communication purposes of Artsürem Publishing.

Such data may be used for:
- user registration and login;
- submission and peer review workflows;
- editorial communication with authors, editors, and reviewers;
- metadata preparation and publication;
- technical and administrative support related to published titles.

Personal data will not be made available for unrelated purposes and will not be shared with third parties except where required for the functioning of the publication process or by applicable law.
