Résumé

Bu çalışma, nostaljiyi salt bir geçmişe özlem duygusu olmanın ötesinde; benlik, anlam arayışı, aidiyet ve duygu düzenleme süreçleriyle etkileşim halindeki işlevsel bir psikolojik kaynak olarak kuramsallaştırmaktadır. Kitap, nostaljinin tarihsel süreçteki kavramsal dönüşümünden hareketle, tetikleyici mekanizmalarını ve dijital dünyadaki güncel yansımalarını ampirik bulgular ışığında analiz etmektedir. Sosyal-psikolojik bir çerçevede sunulan bu eser, bireyin geçmişiyle kurduğu diyaloğun benlik saygısı, iyimserlik ve sosyal bağlılık üzerindeki yapılandırıcı etkilerini derinlemesine incelemektedir. Eser, sosyal psikoloji, kişilik psikolojisi ve dijital iletişim alanındaki araştırmacılar için temel bir referans niteliği taşımaktadır.

İrem Yılmaz-Özdemir

Dr. İrem Yılmaz-Özdemir, lisans eğitimini Ankara Üniversitesi'nde, yüksek lisans ve doktora eğitimini ise University of Southampton'da tamamlamıştır. Doktora çalışmaları sırasında nostalji, benlik, sosyal ilişkiler ve duygu düzenleme süreçleri üzerine yoğunlaşmıştır. Hâlen Çukurova Üniversitesi Psikoloji Bölümü'nde öğretim üyesi olarak görev yapmakta; benlik, kimlik ve kişilik kuramları üzerine akademik çalışmalarını sürdürmektedir
