Author Guidelines

Artsürem Publishing accepts proposals only for its active peer-reviewed series: the Contemporary Linguistics Series and the Psychology and Social Sciences Series. Proposals that do not clearly fit a series are not sent for external review.

The press considers research monographs, scholarly edited volumes and doctoral dissertations substantially revised for book publication. We do not consider popular non-academic books, self-help titles, unreviewed conference proceedings or manuscripts without a clearly defined research contribution. Individual book chapters are not considered as independent submissions unless they belong to an approved edited-volume project.

Initial submissions may take one of two forms:

  1. a complete manuscript; or
  2. a structured book proposal with sample chapters.

A submission should include:

  • title and subtitle;
  • name(s), affiliation(s), country and ORCID iD(s) of the author(s) or editor(s);
  • an abstract in English (150–250 words);
  • 5–7 keywords in English;
  • a table of contents;
  • the full manuscript or a proposal with sample chapters;
  • a short biography of each author or editor;
  • where relevant, a funding statement, an ethics statement and permissions for third-party material.

Manuscripts must be original and must not be under consideration by another publisher at the same time. Authors are responsible for the accuracy of references, for securing permission to reuse copyrighted material and for ensuring that all contributors named in the submission have approved it.

Submissions that pass the initial editorial screening are sent for double-anonymised external peer review. Acceptance rests on scholarly quality, originality, relevance to the series and satisfactory revision where required.

Unless otherwise agreed with the editors, citations and references follow APA 7 or the house style of the relevant series consistently.

Submission Preparation Checklist

Please confirm that the submission meets all of the following requirements:

- The project clearly fits one of Artsürem Publishing’s active peer-reviewed series.
- The submission is original and is not under consideration by another publisher.
- The title, abstract, and keywords have been provided in English.
- All references and citations have been checked for accuracy and completeness.
- The manuscript file has been prepared in an editable format (.doc, .docx, or .odt).
- Where double-anonymised review is intended, identifying information has been removed from the review file and from file properties.
- All tables, figures, illustrations, datasets, and appendices are clearly labelled.
- Permission has been obtained for any third-party material requiring permission.
- All listed authors/contributors have approved the submission.
- Where relevant, funding information, conflict-of-interest disclosures, and ethics approval details have been provided.

Copyright Notice

Authors who publish with Artsürem Publishing retain copyright in their work.

By submitting a manuscript, the author confirms that:

  • the work is original and has not been published before in the form submitted;
  • the work is not under consideration elsewhere;
  • all necessary permissions for third-party material have been obtained;
  • all named authors and editors have approved the submission.

If the submission is accepted, the author grants Artsürem Publishing the right of first publication. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, books are published under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International licence (CC BY-NC 4.0); where a book is published under a different Creative Commons licence, the applicable licence is stated on the book page and in its front matter.

Authors remain responsible for the content of the work, the accuracy of references and compliance with the relevant ethical and legal requirements.

Privacy Statement

The names, affiliations, email addresses and other personal data entered on this site are used only for the editorial, production, publication and communication work of Artsürem Publishing.

These data may be used for:

  • user registration and login;
  • submission and peer review;
  • correspondence with authors, editors and reviewers;
  • preparation and publication of metadata;
  • technical and administrative support for published books.

Personal data are processed in accordance with Turkish Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (KVKK). They are not used for any other purpose and are not shared with third parties except where the publication process or the law requires it.
