Social Sciences – Historical and Cultural Studies

1 Titles

The Social Sciences – Historical and Cultural Studies Series publishes peer-reviewed monographs and edited volumes in history, archaeology, historical linguistics and cultural history.

The series welcomes original studies in areas such as:

  • medieval and early modern history
  • archaeology and archaeogenetics
  • historical linguistics, philology and onomastics
  • cultural history, folklore and historical memory
  • interdisciplinary historical and cultural research with a strong theoretical and methodological framework

The series gives priority to manuscripts that are well grounded in sources, methodologically transparent, and clearly situated within the relevant scholarly literature. It does not normally publish general textbooks, non-peer-reviewed conference proceedings, or edited volumes whose chapters do not form a coherent scholarly whole.
