Contemporary Linguistics Series

6 Titles

The Contemporary Linguistics Series publishes peer-reviewed monographs and edited volumes in linguistics and language-based research.

The series welcomes original studies in areas such as:

- theoretical linguistics

- applied linguistics

- sociolinguistics

- discourse analysis

- language documentation

- contact linguistics

- cognitive and functional approaches to language

- language and communication research with a clear linguistic core

The series gives priority to manuscripts that are theoretically explicit, methodologically transparent, and clearly situated within the relevant scholarly literature.

The series does not normally publish general textbooks, non-peer-reviewed conference proceedings, or edited volumes whose chapters do not form a coherent scholarly whole.

Its aim is to provide a rigorous venue for research that advances linguistic scholarship through original data, analytical precision, and sustained engagement with current debates in the field.
